Turkish Research Scholarships 2023-2024 Session for Online Applications

The fully-funded Turkey Research Scholarships 2023-2024 session are being accepted by the Turkish Government from international students and scholars.

The government of Turkey has finally opened its doors to all international students for the Turkey Research Scholarship. It is available for all nationality holders and designated specifically for the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and doctoral students involved in the different research programs.

The Turkish scholarship programs offered by the Turkish government are unprecedented and comprehensive, providing extraordinary learning opportunities to the selected candidates at reputable Turkish Universities. Applications for these fully funded scholarship programs are accepted online from June 1, 2023, to December 30, 2023.

Details about Turkey Research Scholarships:

It offers a three to ten months degree program at BS, MS, or Ph.D. levels at the top-notch universities of Turkey, funded by the Turkish government. However, students enrolled in the Turkish Research Scholarship can explore different cultures, traditions, training, and internship opportunities. Meanwhile, they will also enjoy a free but compulsory Turkish language course for one year. It will help them in adapting to social and cultural norms.

The programs offered by the Turkey Research Scholarship are; 

1. Full-time program.
2. Part-time program.
3. Cultural and Language programs.

Full-time program:

• Degree: Undergraduate level.
• Subjects offered: engineering, humanities, and social and health sciences.
• Duration: 4 years.
• Degree: Post-graduate level.
• Subjects offered: all the fields except health sciences.
• Duration: 4 years.

Part-time program:

• It offers a Research scholarship program.
• Duration: 3 to 12 months.
• Aim: To empower the students to continue their research work with Turkish researchers.

Turkey Research Scholarships Funding Allowances:

These Turkish scholarships are quite famous for covering a lot of expenses of the awarded students. The list of these scholarship funding and benefits is as follows:

1. A monthly stipend of 1,100 TL for Master’s level students.
2. A monthly stipend of 1,600 TL for Ph.D. students.
3. Free Turkish language course for 1 year.
4. A tuition fee waiver for undergraduates & post-graduate students.
5. Students who belong to the language and cultural programs will receive a monthly stipend of 2,000 TL. Not only this, but they will also enjoy free accommodation, a Turkish language course, and air tickets.

Eligibility criteria for Turkish Research Scholarship:

The academic standing requirement varies from one program to another; for instance;

• Bachelor’s Level: 70%
• Master’s Level: 75% and age below 30 years.
• Ph.D. Level: 75% and age below 35 years.
• Medical Sciences: 90%
• Ex and current citizens cannot apply for it.
• All nationals are eligible for this program.
• The candidate must have passed the English Language Proficiency test.
• Test scores of IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, GRE, and GMAT. They must be up to the requirement.
