Cyprus-Turkey Government Sponsored Scholarships 2023-2024

Scholarships, in general, encourage students to pursue additional education. Scholarships make higher education more accessible. Scholarships assist you in building a strong network. That is why it is critical to take advantage of these changes. We will guide you through the Turkey Cyprus scholarship program.

The scholarship is based in the North region of Cyprus in Turkey and is completely supported by the Turkish and the republic of Cyprus. This scholarship is partially funded with mind-blowing benefits. The organization of Islamic Cooperation, a very well-known institution under which you can apply for scholarships in the following three universities:

• Final International University (FIU)
• Cyprus International University (CIU)
• Girne American University (GAU)

We will guide you through the process of applying to the Cyprus scholarship program under OIC. If you are from an OIC member country and wish to study in Turkey or Cyprus, this is a fantastic chance for you.

Eligibility of Cyprus Gov. Scholarship:

• The scholarship program is open to students pursuing their undergraduate education, graduate, or post graduate degree can apply.
• The applicant should meet the requirements of Turkish Republic of North Cyprus education commission.
• Should be proficient in English as all the courses will be taught in English. Certifications of English speaking tests will be required for verifications.
• Students from all over the world are eligible to apply as OIC is linked with 100+countries.

Financial Allowance for Cyprus Gov. Scholarship:

• This program covers tuition and monthly allowance of the students for both fall and spring semester.
• Scholarship funding is for 5 years for undergraduate students, 4 years for their P.H.D degree program and 2 years of their master’s degree but this scholarship does not fund dentistry, pharmaceutical or medicine degrees.
• Other expenses: living, travel, health insurance, food is covered by the students themselves

Application Method of Cyprus-Turkey Scholarship:

The duration of this scholarship program depends upon your level of education. It varies for undergraduate or post graduate degrees. You have to submit your verified documents at the following address:

The Turkish Cypriot Government has a limited number of scholarship spots available to be exact only five seat are available. Scholarships are extremely restricted.   You are already eligible to apply for this program if you are a member of the OIC Member Countries. So do not waste any more of your time you transcripts and other documentations must reach the organization of Islamic Cooperation General Secretariat office. 

Deadline of Cyprus-Turkey Scholarship:

The deadline for the documentation submission for Cyprus-Turkey Government Scholarship is November 30th.

Points to ponder

• Candidates selected for the scholarship program are supposed to maintain their CGPA above 3.0.
• If they wish to go abroad during their semester, they have to seek the permission of TRNC
• If they do anything against the rules and regulations of the institution or the country; their scholarship will be revoked.
